Free Cleaning Checklist for Keeping Your Office Tidy
Keeping the office clean is not something that your workers will have on their mind.

Additionally, it’s not hard to put cleaning duties aside when you’re caught up in a wave of phone calls, emails and tight customer deadlines. In this situation, things can quickly turn ugly without you even realising and before long your office starts to look like this-

By following our cleaning schedule and getting your staff to stick to it (that’s the hard part), you will be able to keep your office looking respectable so you don’t have to feel embarrassed each time a client visits.
This is the basic list of duties used by our own office cleaners covers the most basic duties that need to be performed on a daily basis. There are still weekly, monthly and annual duties which need to be performed which are not included in this checklist –
Office & Reception Area
- Empty Bins
- Sanitize and wipe tables
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Spot clean any internal glass, eg doors
Bathrooms & Toilets
- Empty bins
- Clean and disinfect toilet bowls & Urinals
- Wipe down vanities, basins, mirrors, hand dryers and chrome tapware
- Refill soap dispensers, towels & toilet paper
- Wipe down partitions & doors
- Sweep & mop floors
Entrances & Corridors
- Empty Bins
- Spot Clean Glass
- Wipe down handrails
- Vacuum and mop stairs/floors
Kitchen & Common Areas
- Empty Bins
- Wipe Tables & Chairs
- Clean benchtops, sink (don’t forget the splashbacks) and chrome tapware
- Clean externals of Cupboards & Appliances
- Sweep and mop floor
